ODENTON, Md. — Volunteers are making sure those who protect and serve our country can have something to look forward to on Thanksgiving Day.
Kingdom Celebration Center in Odenton passed out Thanksgiving baskets for recovering service members, veterans and gold star families.
This is their fourth year saying thank you to our brave men and women.
"Families that we could never thank enough is our gold star families. We want to make sure that they are never forgotten, this is a moment in time with everything going on that we can actually say thank you for all of the contributions and the ultimate sacrifice that their family has made which is having their loved one being lost in battle."
The baskets included a lot of Thanksgiving favorites like turkeys, greens, stuffing and sweet potatoes.
