BALTIMORE — Baltimore City Department of Transportation announced weekend lane closures for Jones Falls Expressway, Lombard Street, Gough Street, and Barney Street.
Jones Falls Expressway
Temporary lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway for street lighting work.
Time: Saturday, August 24, 2019, right lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the county line from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Lombard Street
Temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Lombard Street for a crane lift operation. At least one lane of through traffic will remain open for drivers during the closure.
Time: Saturday, August 24, 2019, a right lane closure will be implemented along Lombard Street between Greene and Penn Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Gough Street
A portion of Gough Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.
Time: Saturday, August 24, 2019, Gough Street will be closed to through traffic between Eaton and Grundy Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
Barney Street
Temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Barney Street for a crane lift operation. A traffic flagging operation will be implemented to direct motorists through the work zone.
Time: Saturday, August 24, 2019, lane closures will be implemented along Barney Street between Johnson and Byrd Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
DOT officials are urging drivers traveling in and any of these areas to be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and to use alternate routes.
