Concrete repairs to cause ramp closures around Baltimore

BALTIMORE — The Maryland Transportation Authority wants you to be prepared as work across the city is going to cause some ramp closures this week

The MDTA says they are performing concrete repairs, causing the following ramps to temporarily close:

  • Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning: The ramp from northbound I-95 to Russell Street (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour will direct motorists to I-395 (Exit 53), Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, to Lee Street, to Russell Street.
  • Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning: The ramp from southbound Russell Street to southbound I-95 will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour will direct motorists to southbound MD 295, to I-695 North (Inner Loop), to southbound I-95.
  • Wednesday and Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning: The ramp from southbound I-95 to southbound MD 295 (Exit 52) will be closed temporarily to traffic. The detour will direct motorists to I-695 East (Outer Loop), to southbound MD 295 (Exit 7A).
