BALTIMORE — The Bradshaw Road overpass on I-95 is closing for reconstruction and will not open back up until Spring 2020.

The construction is slated to begin next Monday, March 11, and all traffic will be detoured to the Raphel Road overpass of I-95. If you live in a private residence off Bradshaw Road, access will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.

The reconstruction is part of the expanded Express Toll Lanes Northbound Extension Program between MD 43 and north of MD 24. In addition to the I-95 northbound roadway improvements, the program will replace several bridges that are more than 50 years old and provide new noise walls.

By 2023, traffic is expected to be opened up through MD 152, and by 2026 through north of MD 24.
