A crash involving a tractor trailer shut down northbound I-95 for several hours Wednesday afternoon.
At least one passenger car was also involved in the crash that happened before 1:15 p.m. in the area of exit 43 onto Route 100, Howard County Fire and EMS said on Twitter.
Three patients were taken to shock trauma and one to an area hospital.

All lanes for northbound traffic were closed past Route 175 following the accident.

The three left lanes were reopened to traffic shortly before 4:30 p.m.
