State Highway Administration announced via Twitter that I-83 northbound is blocked near Shawan Road because of a vehicle crash and fire.
At approximately 3:20 p.m. there was a vehicle fire on I-83 North between Shawan Road and Belfast Road, Baltimore County fire officials said.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes.
