BALTIMORE, Md. — Scrutiny has focused again on personnel in the Mayor's Office.

Three aides to Mayor Catherine Pugh are on paid leave as of Wednesday.

According to a spokesperson for Ex-Officio Jack Young, the aides are Gary Brown Jr., Poetri Deal and Afra Vance-White.

WMAR-2 News asked Ex-Officio Young about the aides departure, and he said he cannot comment because the issue is a personnel matter.

At this time, there is no information as to why the three were put on paid leave.

Mayor Catherine Pugh has since taken an indefinite leave of absence as she recovers from pneumonia.
