A teenager was shot and killed in Columbia on Saturday. Now police are offering a $5000 reward for information leading to the shooter.

Officers were called to the area of Snowden River Parkway and Patuxent Woods Drive around 2:10am.

Detectives believe 17-year-old Natanael Rodriguez Cuxun, of Virginia, was a passenger in a vehicle when someone in another car opened fire and fled.

Two other people in the car with Cuxun were not injured.

Investigators haven't figured out a motive, but believe Cuxun was targeted.
