The news comes after coach John Harbaugh said he wouldn't rule out signing former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick following a back injury to starting quarterback Joe Flacco.

Coach Harbaugh said he'd talked to Kaepernick throughout the summer and confirmed Kaepernick was being discussed.
Flacco missed the first full practice of training camp and is expected to be out at least one week.
