A mated pair of bald eagles at the National Arboretum are expecting, and cameras showing the eagles' nest are drawing a lot of attention.
Two cameras watch the nest where the eagles, patriotically named Mr. President and The First Lady, settled in 2014.
Now, people are tuning in to watch for their two eaglets to hatch.
The first egg began the hatching process Wednesday, March 16 around 7:30 p.m. and "egg-watch alert" for the second egg could extend into the weekend, according to dceaglecam.org.
