The senior quarterback ran 28 times for 142 yards in Saturday’s game against UConn. Three touchdown runs pushed him to 73 rushing touchdowns in his career. He’s now tied for second with Travis Prentice for most rushing touchdowns in NCAA history.
It’s not the first time Reynolds has made it the NCAA record books. He has the most rushing touchdowns in a career by a quarterback, most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in a season and is in fourth for most total touchdowns in a season overall.

"I think what he's done is remarkable, he just continues to move to the next game and that's got to be our approach," coach Ken Niumatalolo said.
For Reynolds, the record is just something that's there.
"I'm grateful to be mentioned in that category, but I wouldn't call it a distraction. When we get in the red zone I just want to punch it in, I don't care if it's me who punches it in," Reynolds said.
The Midshippmen will take on the Air Force Falcons Saturday Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m.
