Ravens wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. appeared to be visibly frustrated Thursday during practice, when he tossed his helmet and then stormed off, ESPN reported.
Quarterback Joe Flacco overthrew Smith on several passes, then Smith ripped off his helmet and threw it about 15 yards toward the end zone. He then kicked a football that was on the ground, ESPN reported.
Smith then walked to the corner of the indoor facility and sat by himself.
He told ESPN that he did it"because I wanted to."
