The Ravens have released veteran safety Lardarius Webb.
After signing free agent safety Tony Jefferson, the Ravens decided to part ways with the eight-year vet, according to NFL Network. His release will save the team $5.5 million in salary-cap room.
Webb was a third round pick by the Ravens 2009. He shifted from corner to safety full-time in 2016.
