Longtime Ravens assistant coach Clarence Brooks has died.
The 65-year-old Brooks was battling esophageal cancer and had been receiving treatment since October 2015.
Brooks joined the Ravens coaching staff in 2005 and was the longest-tenured coach for the team, according to his bio on the Ravens website.
Players took to social media to express their sadness over the loss.
