The Baltimore Ravens have announced who will be singing the National Anthem on Sunday's game against the Pittsburg Steelers.
Sunday’s game will be the first since Ravens players joined the rest of the NFL last weekend in kneeling and linking arms during the Star Spangled Banner, protesting President Trump’s comments regarding his view that players should be fired if they don’t stand for the anthem.
In wake of certain players kneeling in London, Joey Odoms, the Ravens National Anthem singer, resigned. He stated due to the tone and actions of a number of NFL fans in the midst of our country's cultural crisis he feels he does not belong there.
The Ravens said on Thursday that a vocal trio fro the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band will be singing the anthem instead.
