Former Baltimore Raven Bart Scott stopped by the Baltimore Fire House on Hillen Street Thursday afternoon, hanging out with first responders, saying thank you and talking football.

It was part of a holiday tailgate lunch put on by the Ravens and Ford trucks.

"Tremendous thing out here. Just lifting morale. It's the holiday season. These guys sacrifice so much.  During the holiday season when we pick up that phone call, they don't take that day off," Scott said.

Another former Raven doing work in the community Thursday, Anquan Boldin, the receiver from the Ravens 2012 Super Bowl squad, gave kids from Baltimore's Seed School $100 each for a shopping spree at Walmart in Arbutus.

Boldin couldn't make it. He stayed in Detroit for practice with his current team, the Lions.
