Justin Tucker's agent announced on Twitter that the Baltimore Ravens placed the franchise tag on the kicker.
The Ravens had not confirmed the report.

The tag means Tucker would be a Raven for at least one more year, effectively keeping him from free agency, according to a report on baltimoreravens.com.
