Terps' sophomore guard Melo Trimble and Iowa's senior forward were named Big Ten co-players of the week Monday.
Trimble contributed 18 points and just one turnover in Maryland's 77-56 victory over Maryland-Eastern Shore. He's averaged 21.5 points and 3.5 assists in the wins over Connecticut and Maryland-Eastern Shore.
This is Trimble's second career Big Ten Player of the Week honor. The last Terp to be player of the week was Dez Wells on March 9, 2015.
