BALTIMORE — The Orioles first-overall draft pick Adley Rutschman said he is humbled to be part of the "special history" the team has during a press conference welcoming him to the organization Tuesday.

Rutschman was known for winning every major amateur and collegiate baseball award. Among his many accolades, he was named the winner of the Golden Spikes Award and the Dick Howser Trophy.

The Orioles shared a tweet Monday of Rutschman checking out Camden Yards for the first time.

Rutschman spoke to the public on Tuesday about the history and future of the team, stating that he is humbled to be a part of the building process.
