Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy will be on the 15-day disabled list because of a foot injury, ESPN is reporting.
Hardy left Sunday's game against the Chicago White Sox after five innings because of an injury sustained when he fouled a ball that hit his foot, according to MLB.com.
According to ESPN, Hardy is expected be out for at least six weeks.
Orioles fans weren't thrilled by the news.
JJ Hardy might not be the best batter in the league but he's an awesome defender. Gonna be tough to replace his glove. #Orioles
