BALTIMORE — On Friday night, the Orioles welcomed Sara Hinesley, a native of Frederick, to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Her pitch was caught by Orioles pitcher and fellow Frederick native Branden Kline.
Hinesley was born without hands, but that hasn't stopped her from overcoming her obstacles and inspiring others across the state.
Hinesley recently won the Zaner-Bloser National Handwriting Contest for her cursive handwriting.
