BALTIMORE — Major League Baseball has lost one of its all time legends.

MLB Network is reporting Hall of Famer Henry Aaron died Friday at the age of 86. The cause is unknown at this time.

Hammerin' Hank as he was known broke Babe Ruth's all time home run record in 1974, and held it for 33 years until passed by Barry Bonds.

A 25 time All Star, Aaron remains the only player ever to have 700 home runs and 3,000 hits.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
