PARKVILLE — During scary and trying times, first responders are some of the people we lean on the most.
But sometimes they are the ones who need the help.
Rock Church Academy is stepping up and offering childcare for all first responders. This includes providers of health care, emergency medical services, and law enforcement personnel. You must show proof of emergency personnel status.
If you qualify, they will watch kids from kindergarten to 5th grade. There, the kids will have learning time, elective and snacks while being watched by professional staff at a well-cleaned facility.
Rock Church Academy also said they are working an extended day for first responders who don't work normal hours.
