BALTIMORE — Tuesday is Pay It Forward Day, and Dunkin’ is celebrating local franchisees looking to make a difference during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Just Last week, Baltimore-area Dunkin' owners Parag and Akash Patel donated 600 individually packaged donuts to staff at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia. The group plans to continue donations on a weekly basis throughout the health crisis.

Over in Manchester, Dunkin' owners Ram Javia and Shital Pate delivered 12 boxes of coffee and 10 dozen donuts to keep the staff at Longview Nursing Home running.

Since March 23 on a daily basis, Bel Air franchisee Kiren Patel has partnered with United Way and the Harford County Action Committee to donate 100 half dozen boxes of donuts to local hospitals, nursing homes, community service groups, and schools.

Then last week, Baltimore franchisee Shaji Matthew donated 600 donuts to MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center and will be donating another 600 donuts on May 1.

If you would like to Pay it Forward, Dunkin’ has set up an online site where you can buy an eGift Card and send it to a front line worker to say thanks. Dunkin’ will donate $1 for every card purchased, up to $100,000, to the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation to help families affected by COVID-19.
