ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Department of Labor is hosting nine upcoming virtual hiring events for hospitality workers who lost their jobs to COVID-19.

During these recruiting events, hundreds of unemployed workers will get the chance to connect with potential employers looking to make new hires.

"While the hospitality sector has regained over 87,100 jobs since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, our department is here to help the Marylanders who are still temporarily dislocated from their job in the industry," said Labor Secretary Tiffany P. Robinson.

To attend an event, you don't necessarily have to be a hospitality worker, it's open to anyone.

Each event will accommodate 50 to 80 job seekers and feature between 10 and 12 employers.

Here's a schedule of when the events will be held.
