HANOVER, Md. — Police swarmed the Arundel Mills area on Wednesday morning.

Crime scene tape cordoned off a shopping center at 7698 Dorchester Boulevard.

Maryland State Police say it all stemmed from a case of road rage along the Baltimore Washington Parkway (MD-295) at Annapolis Road (MD-175).

That's where the driver of a Dodge van reported being shot by someone traveling in a Genesis G70.

U.S. Park Police later spotted the alleged gunman's vehicle in Washington D.C., with help from the victim's dashcam.

Inside they recovered a loaded gun and spent shell casing.

Darius Bryant, 21 of Prince George’s County, was arrested and charged in connection with the shooting.

After a more than three-hour closure, MD-295 was reopened to traffic.
