Video footage of one family's run-in with the Transportation Security Administration has people talking across the country. A 10-year-old girl was patted down by a TSA security official, and her dad recorded the whole thing.
Vendela Payne was apparently pulled aside after a juice box in her bag set off an alarm, leading to a pat-down that lasted nearly two minutes.
TSA released a statement saying procedures allow pat-downs of children under certain circumstances, and the agent followed approved protocol.
Payne's father is now pushing for new rules, and is working with his congressman to file a complaint with the TSA.
