Bei Bei the panda cub to make his public debut

The wait is almost over. You can finally see Bei Bei the panda cub at the Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington D.C. beginning Saturday. 
 
The 5-month-old will go on public exhibit following his birth last August. He was given his name, which means 'precious' or 'treasure', five weeks after his birth by U.S. and Chinese First Ladies Michelle Obama. and Peng Liyuan
 
Bei Bei has almost 1600 followers on Twitter and more than 5.5 million people have tuned in to watch him on the 24-hour Giant Panda Cam.
 
 
The giant panda house will officially reopen Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
