BALTIMORE — More than 150 young ladies are showing off their skills as the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Woman help its second annual Winter Arts Showcase.

It's called "Bliss Girl Magic" and it gives the students a chance to show what they've learned in their art classes so far. The art department offers dance, theater arts, music technology, fitness and weightlifting and they learn skills that they can take with them for life.

"Confidence...I get a lot of girls that come in the beginning of the semester and they're like you want me to do what? You want me to move in front of my classmates. Let alone a full auditorium of people," said dance teacher Kelsey Burks.

The Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women has been in Baltimore since 2009.
