PASADENA, Md. — Fed up with seeing highschoolers load up on candy, chips and junk after school, Carl Casalino started a rumor...as in Rumor Meal.

This is the name of the restaurant he owns on Mountain Road in Pasadena. Between 2:30 and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Fridays during school, he offers students 5 dollar meals.

They are chicken tenders, cheeseburgers, etc. Parents say it’s a better choice than what their juniors have been bringing home.

Carl says his Rumor Meal is safe and kids come in and bring energy to his place with great conversations.
