Labrador Retriever claims most popular dog breed 26th time in a row

The American Kennel Club has announced that the Labrador Retriever is again the most popular dog breed.

It claims that title for the 26th year in a row.

The Club says it's likely because Labs are able to adapt and make good companions for a wide variety of lifestyles.

Filling out the top five: the German Shepard, Golden Retriever, Bulldog and Beagle. They all held onto the same spots from last year.
