A new release of emojis is expected to represent everyone.
Unicode emoji subcommittee agreed to add 11 new professional emojis in both male and female options with all skin tones. Currently, the only occupations depicted for women are princess and bride.
Google made a proposal in May for a wider range of professions to "reflect the pivotal roles women play in the world."
The new emojis will include gender and race diverse teachers, scientists, farmers, chefs, mechanics and even rock stars.
