BALTIMORE — RecruitMilitary and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) will host the Baltimore Veterans Job Fair at M&T Bank Stadium on Thursday.
The job fair, which is free for all veterans, military spouses, transitioning military, National Guard members and Reservists, will help connect job seekers to nearly 50 employers who are all ready to hire. All candidates have to do is show up, with their resumes, dressed for success.
In addition to providing career opportunities for transitioning military and veterans, RecruitMilitary is also trying to help the more than 600,000 military spouses who are unemployed and/or underemployed in their professional careers.
Through a new partnership with Google, RecruitMilitary was able to develop a new job search tool that will allow job seekers to explore 8,000 remote work options in a database of more than 250,000 jobs.
With more than 140 veteran and military spouse job fairs in 2019, RecruitMilitary says that it offers veterans and military spouses more opportunities than any organization to help facilitate their future career goals.
The job fair is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and parking is free.
