TIMONIUM, Md. — They put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms and today, there was a special celebration for some WWII veterans in Timonium.
The celebration was held at Stella Maris Senior Day Center, with Delegate Michele Guyton presenting a citation.
"I just don't want to let the opportunity pass to let people know of the sacrifices of these people who are truly special," Guyton said. "This generation was very selfless. They believed in duty."
The Hereford Community Theater singers were there to sing the national anthem.
