A Delaware trooper killed in the line of duty is being remembered as a man who "loved helping people."
A funeral for 32-year-old Cpl. Stephen Ballard took place Friday in Wilmington at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. It was closed to the news media.
Ballard was shot April 26 while investigating a suspicious vehicle at a convenience store in Bear.
