Two men are in custody after firing gunshots on a mall parking lot.

Montgomery County Police officials announced charges against  23-year-old David Orlando Montalvo and 28-year-old Lucas Austin Graves.

Related: Just after 7 p.m., on March 9, Montgomery County Police responded to the Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, for shots fired.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shooting, including shell casings and parked vehicles that had been struck by bullets.

An investigation revealed two groups engaged in a verbal argument that likely started off mall property. The argument then continued onto the mall parking lot, where two suspects, identified as Montalvo and Graves fired a handgun at two male victims, missing them both.

Following the incident, all parties involved fled the location.

On March 19, an arrest warrant was obtained for Graves. He was arrested on April 11.

Then on April 12, a warrant was issued for Montalvo, who was apprehended on April 18.

Each faces two counts of attempted murder, first degree assault, reckless endangerment and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
