CAROLINE COUNTY, Md. — A 15-year-old North Caroline High School student has been arrested for intentionally starting a fire in a boy's bathroom stall on Thursday morning.

Officials say a preliminary investigation showed that the student ignited combustible materials using an open flame to start the fire. They say the fire self-extinguished before it was discovered by a school employee.

Caroline County Fire continues to investigate the incident.
