A team of people from the central Maryland Salvation Army are hopping on a plane to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
As well as staff, the Salvation Army is sending 59 mobile canteens, which are used for times of emergency.
The Salvation Army as a whole has already provided 6,000 meals to those hurt by the hurricane, as well as rescue workers.
"We are implementing plans to be there for as long as it takes," said Charles Nutt, Divisional Development Director of The Salvation Army of Central Maryland.
