Reward offered for wanted fugitive known to frequent Maryland

NORFOLK, Va. — UPDATE:

Members of the U.S Marshals Fugitive Task Force arrested Northan at a hotel in Pocomoke Cit in Worcester County on Thursday around 9:45 a.m.

The U.S. Marshals are trying to track down a Bloods gang member wanted for attempted murder charges out of Virginia.

Robert “RJ” James Northan Jr., 34, was last seen nearly three weeks ago, and law enforcement thinks he may be hiding out on the Eastern Shore of Virginia or Maryland.

On March 25, a man was shot multiple times on Tyler Lane in Accomack County.

An investigation led to Northan as the suspect. He's charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Northan is known to frequent an address in the 25000 block of Dennis Drive, in Parksley, Virginia. He may also be in the Salisbury, Maryland area.

He's described as 5 foot 7 inches tall and 160 pounds, with a tattoo on the right side of his neck.

Northan should be considered armed and dangerous.
