Rep. Elijah Cummings, a Democrat, won re-election Tuesday night, defeating Republican Corrogan Vaughn and Green Party candidate Myles Hoenig.
Cummings was first elected to the 7th Congressional District in 1996.
He previously served in the Maryland House of Delegates.
