Ray Lewis addresses Baltimore gun violence

Posted

Ray Lewis addressed gun violence in Baltimore in front of lawmakers Friday.

In 2017, there have been 58 homicides, many from gun violence. Lewis wants to find a solution.

He says guns are too accessible and it's putting out children in danger.

"Gang life starts at 9 years old," he said. "So if we're not getting our babies coming out kindergarten, almost then we're losing them immediately to be desensitized to what it feels like to pull a trigger and take another man's life."

"Gunbail" is only available to non-violent offenders, but Lewi says it could help get more guns off the street.
