Police working to identify woman killed nearly 50 years ago

LAUREL, Md. — Police are still working to identify the body of a woman killed nearly 50 years ago.

Samuel Little admitted to strangling the woman in the woods near Laurel back in 1972 and even drew a sketch of her.

Now, police are sending part of her body to a DNA lab in Virginia for testing. She's described as a 20-year-old white woman between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 5 inches with dirty blonde to reddish hair.

Little also confessed to about 90 murders nationwide. He is currently serving multiple life sentences.
