ROCKVILLE, Md. (AP) - Police in Maryland say they're investigating the death of a person found at a Red Roof Inn at Rockville as suspicious.
The Montgomery County Police Department says they were called Saturday morning to the Red Roof Inn located at 16001 Shady Grove Road for a report of a death.
Police said in a statement that when they arrived they found an adult who was dead in a hotel room. Police say they are investigating the death as suspicious because of "apparent trauma to the victim."
Police say an autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore. Police did not release the name of the person found dead or say if it was a man or woman.
