A Montgomery County Police officer was hit on I-270 early Thursday morning.
Police said the officer was hit after responding to a chase. Those two suspects got away and a separate person came along and hit the officer on the road.
An investigation closed southbound I-270 at Route 121 in the Clarksburg area, but the road has since reopened.
The on-scene crash investigation is complete, police said.
The officer suffered non-life threatening injuries.
