New partnership between 2 Maryland universities to tackle counter-terrorism research

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) - Two Maryland universities announced a national security partnership to pool resources and collaborate on counterterrorism research.
 
University of Maryland, Baltimore President Jay Perman and University of Maryland, College Park President Wallace Loh took part in the discussion with University System of Maryland Chancellor Robert Caret.
 
Officials rode the MARC train and Metro to Greenbelt station to demonstrate the many transit options and convenience of the Greenbelt location.
 
It was hosted by Greenbelt Mayor Emmett Jordan. Officials were highlighting Greenbelt as a strong central location for a new FBI headquarters.
