If you like those Chesapeake Bay Maryland license plates there is now a new option to choose from.
Officials revealed the newest design in the series on Thursday, and say it was selected from more than 250 designs.
This is now the third design since the bay plate was introduced in 1990. Money from the plate purchases will go toward the Chesapeake Bay Trust, which uses the money for bay education and community-based projects for the health of the bay.
"One license plate cost $20 and it enough to get one student out on an outdoor field trip," explained Jana Davis with the Chesapeake Bay Trust. "That will not only improve his or her life right now but, will have a lasting impact on that child for the rest of their life."
You can order your bay plate starting October 29.
