Frederick County Police are investigating a multiple car crash that has left a juvenile and one adult injured.
Police say they were called around 9:17 p.m. Friday to the first block of Waverly Drive for a motor vehicle crash.
When they arrived, they found three vehicles with either heavy front or heavy rear damage at the scene.
Police say a juvenile passenger in one vehicle, as well as a driver in another were injured as a result of the crash.
Both victim were transported to area hospitals for treatment. Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, detectives are not releasing the names of the involved parties at this time.
The intersection of Waverly Drive was shut down for 45 minutes, and is now open for normal pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
