Maryland State Police barracks will be open 24 hours to collect prescription medications

One way to fight the state's opioid epidemic is to get rid of unused prescription medications. 

Maryland State Police barracks will now be open 24 hours a day to dispose of those medications. All 23 locations will have secure collection boxed in the front lobby of each location and no questions will be asked during drop-off. 

State Plice say all drugs will be properly destroyed.
