Giving Tuesday has come and gone, but a new survey says our state is one of the most charitable in the country.

Wallethub says Maryland is the second most charitable state in the country, and Utah took the top spot.

Utah ranked the highest in volunteer rate, donation income, and population of people who donated. Maryland was ranked in the top 5 for donation income and the population of people who donated.

Minnesota, Wyoming and Wisconsin rounded out the rest of the top five.

The site also ranked least charitable. On that list, Hawaii ranked first followed by Rhode Island, Nevada, Louisiana, and Arizona.
