In an effort to honor those who serve, many local business are offering deals to commemorate Nurse’s Day (May 6), Teacher’s Appreciation Day (May 8), and Mother’s Day (May 13).
Several national retailers are also offering deals for Tuesday’s recognition of educators as well.
In the Baltimore region, the following deals are available, many until the end of the month.
Medieval Times - From May 1 – May 31, teachers and nurses can receive 50% off of an adult admission ticket with the promo code “TEACH18” or "NURSE18." This code is only valid at the box office and through the call center at 888-935-6878. From May 1 – May 13, Mom’s admission is free with the purchase of an adult ticket using the code “MOM18.” You can upgrade your ticket package for $20 to include a “Mom’s the Queen” sash, a souvenir glass of Champagne or Mimosa and a framed photo of Mom.
MidiCi in White Marsh will have a special Mother’s Day Brunch for Mom from 10 am – 2 pm. For $48.95 per couple or $24.48 for one adult, guests can enjoy their choice of beverage, including Mimosa and White Sangria, Meat and Cheese Board, a choice of Pizza or a Salad and a choice of Sorbet/Gelato or a Calzone to share.
16 on the Park, located on the 16th floor of The Residence Inn at Johns Hopkins Medical Campus, will offer Mother’s Day Brunch from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. The special brunch menu includes Lobster Omelet, Stuffed French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Oven Roasted Ham, Seared Scallops and Grilled Tuna. Drink specials, including a Mimosa, Bloody Mary and Seasonal Sangria will also be offered.
Roy Rogers Restaurants will be offering Mom a free breakfast on Mother’s Day! Mom can dine in and receive a free Breakfast Combo with the purchase of an additional Breakfast Combo at participating locations.
The Greene Turtle will offer a meal for Mother’s Day for $50. Guests can dine on one appetizer, two house specialties and one dessert at participating locations.
